Many Singaporeans complain about the fact
that there is nothing to do in their city. Do not listen to them. Truth is,
Singapore is one amazing city and it offers a wide array of activities for
tourists to enjoy. In fact, the list for things to in Singapore is incredibly
long and you cannot fit all these activities in a week-long Singapore trip.
If you have limited time in this Merlion
City but you wish to explore
Singapore, then you must focus on doing some of the best activities in the
city. With that in mind, here are some of the things that you must do when in
Singapore:
ñ Dine at the Hawker Food Market
First things first, you need to eat and in
Singapore, you are given lots of opportunities to do so. The Hawker Food Market
offers a wide array of Asian cuisines from Nasi Lemak to the famous Hainanese
chicken to Korean barbecues and dimsums.
ñ Be intoxicated at Little India
Little India is one of the most fragrant
destinations in Singapore and this is all because the streets are filled with
spices, foods and flowers that came from India. In addition to that, there are
also multi colored buildings along with blaring music that makes the entire
experience unique and memorable.
ñ Get wild at the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari
In Singapore, there are two zoological
attractions: the Night Safari and the Singapore Zoo. The zoo is known for its
open enclosures allowing tourists to touch the animals. The highlight of the
zoo is two giant pandas named Jia Jia and Kai Kai.
ñ Admire Gardens by The Bay at Night
One of the places that Singapore boasts
about is the Gardens By The Bay which os the home to a wide array of flora and
fauna arranged beautifully in the 101 hectare garden. In addition to that,
there are also bio domes like the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. It is best that
you visit this at night so you can have the best look at its stunning highlight
which are the Super Trees that are 50m structures with dazzling lights.
ñ Drink by the Riverside
The Singapore River stretches from Marina
Bay up to the Robertson Quay. This amazing river actually offers something to
do for everyone, especially the party goers. In fact, Clarke Quay is considered
to be the top party spot in the entire Singapore region. If you love to party,
this is simply the best place to go. Stroll the along the stretch from the
prestigious Fullerton Hotel up to Robertson Quay and have a chance to enjoy the
several dining options that they offer.
No one, and I mean no one, must ever leave
Singapore without doing the things mentioned above. In fact, you can never
truly say that you have been to Singapore if you have not enjoyed any or all of
the activities stated above.
