The Most Terrifying Beaches on Earth, Take These off Your List

Beach travelers have so much love for the sand and open water that they will search the world for the most thrilling and exciting trip. Throughout the wide number of beaches that this world possesses, there are some spots you should not dare to dip your foot at for safety reasons. They are probably the reasons why you should stick to the water slides if you want to get wet for summer. Here is the list of the most terrifying beaches in the world.
  • North Sentinel Island
If you do not want to be butchered or be killed by a primitive tribe, do not dare come to North Sentinel Island. Though the water and the white sand may seem an enticing mystery, it is reported that fisherman's have been killed by the locals of this place. Sentinelese, as what the locals are called, is not very happy to welcome strangers on their land. They will kill who ever try to lay a foot on their land. Even the government of India, the country that has jurisdiction on this island, cannot penetrate the place as the locals refuse to negotiate with them.
  • Hanakapiai Beach, Hawaii
Never dare to go on this beach alone. If you would be lucky to have a tour here, with a tour guide of course, you will see a signage telling that people have died. Using the Babylonian method of counting, the number of people has been encrypted to the signage with spaces to fill those who are stupid enough to go to the water. The current of the beach has been dubbed as the deadliest current that will pull you to the open ocean and therefore kill you. Even professional swimmers cannot stand the strength of the current.
  • Gansbaai, South Africa
Do you want to sail with giant sharks? Come here and be eaten alive! Gansbaii has the biggest number of great white sharks in the world. Well the beach has long stretch of white sands and dramatic view of the cliffs, but it is the home of some brutal sea creatures. Would you dare to swim?
  • Darwin, Australia
Indeed it is a beautiful beach with fine white sand, picturesque views, and dramatic sunsets, a surreal attraction for anybody who sees it. But box jellyfishes, crocodiles and even more sharks awaits you under the crystal clear water. It is one of the nightmares of every beach traveler.
  • Chowpatty Beach, Mumbai
Do you want to swim in the most polluted beach in the world? You could find it in Mumbai. It is no big deal; there are no deadly jellyfishes, sea snakes, sea urchins, or sharks, just tons of trash. No wonder deadly creatures are not around; they must have gotten sick by the millions of bacteria and viruses in the beach.
  • Heard Island, Antarctica
Once again there are no great white sharks or deadly jellyfishes here. The waves could even be great for surfers, but there is just one catch― the lovely beach is in Antarctica. If you would love to die frozen with your surfboard, this is the best place to do some suicide action. Hello hypothermia!

Pack smartly.  Unlike other types of travels, you are not required to bring formal dresses, shoes and other accessories. Simple, light and comfortable attires will do.  There are no formal gatherings to attend to and you can always be in casual. Bring only the essential to a more convenient trip.

Determine your limitations.  You may be faced with situations where physical stability is required.  You may do more walks and stair climbing.  It is better to know your limitations.  Consult your doctor, especially if you are under certain medical condition. It is important that you will be provided with  options.

Spend  good times in  eating and drinking.  Breakfast, lunch and dinners are being served. Make sure that you visit the dining room early, just before it opens to serve.  Make sure to check your daily planner to confirm the time of the dinner for it may vary from day to day.  Most cruises offer complimentary wines during dinner time, so take  advantage of it.

Packing for a trip is one of the most difficult things that you will have to do when traveling. Finding destination is easy. Creating your itinerary is pretty straightforward. Determining when to stay is not that complicated. However, packing is surely an entirely different thing. When packing, there are lots of questions that you have to ask yourself-- what do you take? What do you leave? Where would you place it?

To save you from the trouble of packing for your trip, here are some of the rules that you must keep in mind:
  • Pack only half of the clothes that you wish to bring.
Tourists, especially women travellers, would like to pack as much items that they want as possible. To make sure that you will go within the baggage limits, it is recommended that you bring only half of the things that you want to bring. In addition to that, it would be wise that you bring twice the money that you wish to bring.
  • Stay away from jeans.
We cannot deny the fact that jeans are quite versatile as you can wear them with just about any other outfit in your wardrobe. Sadly, jeans may not be your best friend when packing. Why is this so? Well, this is because this type of clothing actually takes up too much space. In addition to that, it is a lot heavier as well. This is why stay away from jeans as much as you can.
  • Know how to mix and match.
You do not have to bring an entire wardrobe during your trip. First of all, it will be a big hassle for you to bring your heavy luggage wherever you go. Second, you will have to pay for extra charges when your baggage is overweight. The key here is to know how to mix and match. Create different outfits out of just a few pieces of clothes.
  • Bring only what you can fit in your carry on.
Lost luggage is also one of the many things that you can encounter while traveling. Sadly, wearing your cuddly and warm airplane outfit may not be that cool when you are traveling to the sunny and tropical Hawaii. The key here is to just simply put everything in your hand carry so that you are assured that you can be able to wear something even if your luggage gets lost.
  • Ditch the things that you can buy.
We all love to bring our own toiletries but you must understand that these items will take up too much space on your luggage. Keep in mind that you can just easily buy all these items in your destination so it would be best not to bring it.

Make sure to follow the rules given above when packing for your trip. They say it is difficult to find an easy way to pack for a trip but these rules will definitely beg to differ. These travel packing tips will help make your trip a lot more comfortable, hassle-free and successful.

Ways to Overcome Homesickness While Traveling

It is natural that you sometimes long or miss your family, your friends  and your special someone, especially when you are in a long time travel.  This is more common when there are special events or occasion.  How about it is one of  your loved-ones birthday and you know that the rest of the family or circle of friends gets together and you are the only who is not there. This is one of the moments when you wish you were home.  Below are some of the simple means how you beat homesickness when you are in a travel.

Bring photos of your loved-ones.  This may be very sentimental, but it may work for you.  Carry wallet-size pictures of the individuals that you miss the most.  In this way, you can always look at their pictures and you feel that they are with you. Choose the ones that can make you smile.  Make it accessible so that you can take a look at them more often.

Make yourself occupied and always on the go.  When you do have much things to do and if you have a tight schedule, there is a lesser time and chance to feel homesick.  If you have nothing else to do, there is  a bigger possibility to think about home.  Plan activities that will make you busy.  Be more active and avoid staying at the four corners of your room, unless you want to sleep.  There are so much to do and explore out there.  Be positive and make yourself happy.

Communicate to your loved ones.  Now, it is easier to stay connected when you miss home.  Through social media, you can easily update them on your whereabouts.  If you  miss them, call them.  Share your stories; however, refrain from telling them that you feel alone and lonely since it can make them feel worried about you.

Treat yourself.  One  of the best ways to forget about  your home is through eating.  Go out with your travel companions or with your local acquaintances.  Eat your favorite meal or experience something new. This will make you feel a lot better afterwards.

Share your feelings to someone.  Sometimes, a simple conversation can do great things.  Try to speak to someone who also feels homesick, so that in the end you will realize that you are not the only one who feels that way.  The other person may have left her newborn baby for this travel.   It is also an opportunity to help the other person beat her own homesickness.

Tips to Prevent Losses When Travelling Internationally

There is nothing wrong with traveling alone in a foreign land. Being alone has its own benefits as well; however, you should also understand  that  being alone is also more challenging and more prone to the dangers.  Whether you are traveling for business or for pleasure, you need to learn how to take care of yourself and to be  responsible for your actions.  Below are some tips to stay safe when traveling abroad.

Know about local laws and customs.  Laws and customs may differ from your country to your destination.  To be more knowledgeable and confident, have a research. Remember that it is a must that you obey and comply with the local laws and do not try to resist. You should also ask or inquire about social habits and practices in order not to offend the locals.  You may want to ask some locals from your hotel to be sure.

Get yourself familiar with the area. You should learn to know how to get around. Even if it is your first time, you should know your way to your destination going back to your hotel location.  Know the best and safest mode of transportation.  Have a map in order to have a look with the landmarks.

Make sure to be ready to face health issues.  Since you are still adjusting to your new surroundings, it is common to easily get sick.  Before going, ask your doctor's advice regarding required vaccination.  It is recommended to have health insurance as well. If you are undergoing a medication, carry sufficient supply and bring the prescription.  Take vitamins and follow simple rules to stay healthy.

Be responsible with your valuables. As much as possible, leave your expensive gadgets, jewelry and other irreplaceable belongings at home. The same goes with essential documents.  If you happen to bring them, do not leave them unattended.  Keep them safely locked in your hotel room. It would be safe not to wear expensive watch and other accessories when going out in public.
