HOW TO LOOK GOOD WHILE TRAVELING





We all want to look good whenever we travel. Whether you’re driving to a shopping mall or in a different city, there’s no doubt that traveling is exhausting. So, what do you do to look good while traveling? Here are some tips:

PREPARE YOUR SKIN.

Traveling can dehydrate your skin badly, so the best advice would be to moisturize your skin a night before you travel.  Apply face mask or eye cream. This will help increase hydration in your skin before you exposed your skin to dehydrating outcome of traveling.

BEAUTY SLEEP. 

Make sure to get enough sleep. Traveling can be so stressful at times, so getting enough sleep is very crucial to combat stress, put things in perspective and lastly to enjoy your vacation.

HYDRATE.  

Don’t forget to drink a lot of fluids. Keeping yourself hydrated will prevent your skin from looking tired and stressed. However, be mindful of what kind of drinks you will have. Avoid drinking too much caffeine while traveling so that you will not feel dehydrated and sick.

BE COMFORTABLE. 

Wear loose, comfortable and breathable fabrics such as cotton, silk or linen clothing that will allow you to move freely and will regulate your body temperature. Another thing would be to wear simple shoes. Wear something comfortable or the one’s that you can easily slip on and off especially when you must take them of when passing through airport security.

BEAUTY REGIME.  

Our skin can face a lot of adjustments while we travel. Being prepared is one of the key to fight this changes.  Put a little make up on. Avoid wearing too much foundation as it may leave your skin too drying.  As much as possible try to wear moisturizer only to keep your skin hydrated.

Skip long lasting lipsticks as they can dehydrate your lips instead bring a moisturizing lip balm for a fresh look.  

Don’t forget your sunblock or sunscreen! Your skin still needs protection even if you’re going to be inside a car, train or plane all day. It will help to protect your skin from the UVA rays damage that coming through windows.

If you have an oily skin, might as well bring along some oil blotting papers. It can help reduce oil so that you can have a fresh-looking face.


EAT WELL. 

Maintaining healthy eating habits while traveling is very challenging.  In this scenario, take some healthy snacks with you so that you will not only feel good inside but also outside. Avoid fatty, greasy foods and caffeinated beverages so that your skin will not get dry and dull, and worst by having skin break outs.
