How To protect Yourself From The Extreme Summer Heat


Summer is already here and it is the perfect time for you to finally put your travel plans into reality. For sure, you will plan to head to the beach but before you do so, there are some things that you have to keep in mind. Keep in mind that the hot temperature and the strong sunlight can be dangerous for your health so you must keep these things in mind:

·         Avoid wearing black.
We all know that darker the color is, the more heat it will absorb and with the sweltering heat of the sun, you would not want more heat. That is why it is recommended that you avoid wearing black during the summer season. If you would like to stick to monochromatic colors, it would be best that you stick to wearing white or gray colored clothes. If you like to keep things stylish, then it is recommended that you try out either bright or pastel colored shirts. Wear any colors—just not the dark ones.

·         Opt for fabrics that let your skin breathe.
If you wish to survive summers, then you should shy away from wearing thick fabrics. Instead, opt for ones that would let your skin breathe. There are plenty of fabrics that you should avoid during the summer season including, silk, satin, nylon, wool or ryon. Instead, stick with easy breeze fabrics and avoid denims and other knit fabrics.

·         Stock up on scarves and hats.
You must also find ways to protect your skin from the sun and the best way to do that without feeling too hot is by using cover ups and the most versatile ones are the scarves and hat. Hats help to protect your scalp from the heat and cover your skin up  and protect it from the harmful rays of the sun. In this way, you can avoid getting skin burn and ultimately, skin cancer. When you enter an establishment, you can easily remove these cover ups and you can show off your skin.

·         Do not exercise too much.
We know that exercising is healthy but you have to keep it to a minimum during the summer season. If you wish to exercise hard, then we suggest that you do so inside air conditioned facilities like the gym.
If you are planning to visit the top beaches this summer, then it is best that you find ways on how you can protect yourself from the extreme summer heat. We know that the heat may seem harmless, especially if you are at the beach but it does come with some health disadvantages so you must follow the tips mentioned above.
