For some, America is a land of dreams and opportunity. But for a traveler like me, it’s a country filled with wonderful destinations. Though the crime rates are quite high compared to Europe, United States have countless pristine attractions that will certainly satisfy any tourist. However, obtaining a visa and entering this country can be quite challenging. But once you get the chance, you must not miss this places:

Maui. Escape all the noise and pollution of the modern city when you visit Maui, Hawaii. It’s a small island surrounded by tranquil beaches and lush mountains. Spend the day admiring the topical scenery as you cruise along the Road to Hana or lounge on the sands of Kaihalulu.

Yellowstone. This is a family oriented park where people can spend the night in campsites. Steaming geysers, bubbling hot springs, hiking trails, and multicolored pools are something to look forward to when you visit yellow stone. Learn more about the abundant nature and wildlife in the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.

Grand Canyon. One of the most majestic landmark in the entire world. You can explore this attraction in two ways, either taking the hike on the Bright Angel Trails or raft the Colorado River. Either way, you’re guaranteed to encounter plenty of picturesque views.

Yosemite. This vacation sport is perfect for postcards. The scenery is surrounded by mountains and lavish greenery while a crystal clear lake is so peaceful to look at. Visit the famous landmark like Half Dome or hike the John Muir Trail. It is advisable to visit Yosemite during spring, summer, or fall to avoid wet weather conditions.

Washington DC. The nation’s capital is surely number one on the list of any tourists. Even Americans are interested in visiting this place. The city itself is already an icon filled with landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Of course, the lively restaurants and night bars here are not to miss as well.

New York City. The city that never sleeps which is also the home of one of America’s greatest icon – the Empire State Building. There are plenty of things to do in New York. The streets alone are filled with entertainers. Time square, Central Park, and the Wall Street are something you should put in your priority.

Cape Cod. This particular tourist destination will give you a country, vintage, and laid-back atmosphere. There aren’t enormous modern beach front hotels and the night life is quite peaceful. The shoreline of Cape Cod continuous to lure tourists for a different American experience. There are beach houses and small time hotels that can provide accommodation for an overnight stay in this place.

New Orleans. It may not be as modern as the Big Apple or Las Vegas, but if you want that authentic American entertainment then this is the place to be. According to many, New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz. Well, there aren’t much proof to that but it’s a city where Caribbean and European influences meet.
